Since the beginning of this year, our city has conscientiously implemented relevant laws and regulations on pig slaughtering, focusing on the quality and safety of pork, strengthening pig slaughtering management, further improving the designated slaughtering management mechanism in each town (street), achieving synchronous promotion between urban and rural areas, ensuring smooth purchase and sales, good market operation order, and ensuring that urban and rural residents truly enjoy "safe meat". In the first 8 months of this year, the total number of slaughtered pigs sold in the city exceeded 200000, a year-on-year increase of 8%.
